1. Current payment status
CloudBooksPro account creation currently does not request payment details. The code includes a planned Lemon Squeezy checkout for CBP-Pro and a webhook that records subscription creation, updates, cancellation, and expiration. The production environment reviewed for this draft does not contain the checkout or webhook configuration needed to complete paid sales.
Do not present paid subscriptions as available until the checkout, displayed price, billing interval, tax treatment, renewal disclosure, customer receipt, customer portal, cancellation process, and support ownership have been tested end to end.
2. How cancellation currently affects access
When the application receives a subscription status of “cancelled” with a future end date, its current access logic keeps CBP-Pro features available until that end date. If the recorded end date has passed—or no future end date is supplied—CBP-Pro access is denied. A status of “expired” does not provide CBP-Pro access.
This describes product access only. It does not establish when billing stops or how a customer submits a cancellation.
3. How to cancel
The current application does not include a self-service cancellation button or subscription-management portal. The product lists info@cloudbookspro.online as its contact address, but no formal email-cancellation procedure or processing time has been provided.
Choose and test the actual cancellation method. State exact steps, whether users cancel inside a Lemon Squeezy portal or by contacting support, when cancellation becomes effective, how confirmation is delivered, and how to handle requests received close to renewal.
Have counsel confirm that the cancellation method and renewal disclosures comply with every place where subscriptions are offered. The final process should be at least as clear and accessible as the purchase process.
4. Refunds
No refund policy has been provided. This draft therefore makes no promise of full, partial, prorated, automatic, or discretionary refunds.
Decide and document: any refund window; eligibility for first purchases, renewals, trials, duplicate charges, technical failures, accidental purchases, and unused time; whether refunds are prorated; how taxes and currency conversion are handled; who issues the refund; expected processing time; and how customers request and track it.
Confirm all mandatory refund, cooling-off, withdrawal, consumer-protection, and payment-dispute rights. A final policy must not reduce rights that cannot legally be waived.
5. Trials, upgrades, downgrades, and failed payments
The access code recognizes an “on trial” subscription status, but the current offer does not define a trial length, conversion date, reminder process, or trial cancellation rule. No upgrade, downgrade, retry, grace-period, or dunning rules are defined in the application.
Either remove trial references from the commercial setup or document the complete trial and conversion terms. Define plan changes, failed payments, grace periods, reactivation, and account access after payment failure.
6. Account data after cancellation
Ending CBP-Pro access does not, by itself, delete the user’s account or company records in the current application. The product does not yet define a retention period or an account-deletion process.
Explain what core access remains after cancellation, how long records are kept, how users export data, how account deletion is requested, and what happens to backups and legally required records.
7. Billing questions
Until a final process is approved, billing and cancellation questions may be sent to info@cloudbookspro.online. Do not include a password or full payment-card number in an email.
Add support hours, expected response time, the information required to locate a transaction, and an escalation path for urgent renewal or duplicate-charge issues.
8. Effective date and operator
This first draft is dated August 3, 2026 and is not yet effective.
Add the operator’s legal name, address, governing terms, final approval date, and version-change process.
